Titabor is a small town located in Jorhat district. It is situated at a distance of 20 kms from the district administrative headquarter Jorhat town.

According to the 2001 census, Titabor had a population of 110224. The average literacy rate is 81% and the population percentage of males to females is 55% to 45%.

Agriculture and tea plantation are the primary occupations of the people of Titabor. There are a certain amount of people engaged in other allied services. There is also the Assam Industrial Development Corporation Centre in Titabor which provides employment facilities to people and development facilities for small and tiny industries.

Titabor is the hometown of the Honorable Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi. He is the current MLA from Titabor Assembly. Titabor is a part of Jorhat (Lok Sabha Constituency).
